Online Multiplayer is not available

Canasta Six requires iCloud enabled both Canasta Six and iCloud drive enabled on the device you wish to play. On your iPhone or iPad, go to the device settings. Tap your name at the top, choose iCloud, scroll down to Canasta Six and make sure the switch is on. Also make sure the iCloud Drive switch is on.

On a Mac, click the Apple menu, then system preferences, then AppleId. Make sure icloud drive is checked, and click the options button and make sure Canasta Six is checked.

I changed my game rules, but they didn’t take effect.

When you start a new game, for that game the current settings are saved into. If you go and change a setting (for example the number of cards dealt per turn). This setting will only take effect when you start a new game.

Can I play multiplayer between a Mac Computer and an iPad or iPhone.

Yes! you can play both local and online multiplayer from any device to any device!

How do I invite someone to play online multiplayer

Open the online multiplayer screen from the menu, choose new game, then choose “Invite code Match”. A new game will appear in you online games list. You will see an invite code, the other player needs to choose the enter invite code button and enter your invite code. You can tap on your game with the invite code to bring up options to share it with another person.

Once the other player has joined, you will notice the game has change in status to ready to start, choose the game to start and have your first turn
